WingTsun Kung-Fu is one of the most intricate and
scientific systems of martial arts to date that was
created by a Buddhist nun close to half a century ago.
The International WingTsun Association (IWTA), headed
by Great Grand Master Leung Ting, is the largest
single style martial arts organization in the world
that spans over 70 countries.
Due to its practical nature and all-round training
(striking, close range combat, submissions and ground
fighting), WingTsun (WT) has proven to be one of the
most effective styles in no-hold-barred combat and is
currently being taught to special police forces and
anti-terror groups around the globe.
The Iranian WingTsun Organization (IWTO) is the only
recognized and valid branch of WingTsun in Iran. The
head of the IWTO is
Sifu Shirouyeh Hassanzdeh who is a
3rd degree technician of WT and is currently the only
man in Iran to go by the title 'Sifu' which means
father in Chinese. All of the other so called WingTsun
styles and instructors in Iran are off shoots of the
WT system and are internationally unaccredited.
